Day #1 of My Brand Story Challenge... 

1. When did you first come up with the idea for your business? What struck you about it?

I’m not sure when I came up with the idea of The Path of Being, specifically. Since I was 16 I have wanted to own my own retail establishment. It’s changed over the years, from a dress store, lingerie store, to a “New Age Store” I like to refer to it as a “Gift and Book Store for Conscious Lifestyles.” I have always loved the look and feel of a “New Age Store” I love books and stones and art and jewelry and culture and different belief systems. I love candles and aromatherapy and soaps and lotions…. Everything about it appeals to me.

2. What do you do?

I am a business consultant for the Small Business Development Center, I am an entrepreneur, I am an intuitive tarot reader, an energy worker…. A healer. I am a teacher and speaker, someone who will effect great change in the world. :-)

3. Why is the solution you’re offering different than any other?

I believe that through the products and services I offer I can help guide and heal others as well as myself. Awakening, I help others learn how to connect with themselves with their souls and through this process help them see the own purpose on their Earth walk.

4. What do you really believe about the work you’re doing, and the impact it has on people?

I believe that the work I do is important not only for my client’s but for their families and friends. I think it is important that people have options… options in the way they think. It is so important that we start seeing each other not as someone separate from us but as person just like us. I believe that the classes, the meditations, the healings and the tarot readings can help people get to know themselves as uniquely beautiful individuals and thus be more willing to see that in others. As one of my clients put it… I offer hope.

5. What do you want other people to believe about the work you’re doing, and the impact it has on people?

I want people to know that I hold the energy for them as they heal themselves. That I am there to help support their work, that not only do I teach but that I also learn from them.  Let them see me be a loving light, supporting their growth. Understanding their struggles and helping them to have compassion for themselves and others.

6. What do you love most about your work?

Being part of something greater then myself….
